Each institution's own students of this programme, counted exactly as the programme across Chile, which heads the table. First-year dropout is the share of everyone who started there in 2023–2025 who was enrolled at no institution at all the following year: everyone who dropped out over everyone who started, the three cohorts added together, never an average of three percentages. Still in the programme is the share enrolled in it at the same institution the next year; the rest changed programme or institution. Graduation is the 2022 cohort for every row, with a title in this programme from any institution within 3 years. Employment and income are SIES's own figures for each institution, as published. A window with fewer than 30 entrants carries no rate.

Read the size beside the rate: with a hundred entrants, one person moves the figure by a point, so a gap of two or three points from Chile can be chance. First-year dropout counts whoever was enrolled nowhere the following year; some return a year or two later, and the register of one year cannot tell a pause from leaving. Students are followed for the institution as a whole, not by campus. The fee is the list fee of its campuses in 2026, before free tuition, grants or loans. 608 of the 8,897 entrants of 2023–2025 started at institutions where the programme never reached 10 entrants in a year; they are in Chile's row and not listed.

First-year dropout is the share of the institution's entrants to this programme in 2023–2025 who were enrolled at no institution the following year, counted by PuroChile on Mineduc's register for the institution as a whole — the same on each of its campuses; "—" is fewer than 30 entrants. The first five columns are Mineduc's enrolment register for 2026: the campus, its first-year entrants (1–2 where there were fewer than three), the mean yearly list fee of those entrants (a fee filed in UF reads "UF"), the formal length in semesters, the timetables, and under the name the institution's accreditation as the register files it. The last three are what SIES publishes on mifuturo.cl (release 2025-2026) for the institution and this generic programme — the same figure on every campus of an institution, because SIES does not publish them by campus. "s/d" means SIES did not publish it, usually because fewer than eleven graduates could be matched.

Everyone who started this programme in a year is looked up in the next year's enrolment register by the masked id Mineduc publishes for that purpose. There are four ways to be found: still in this programme at the same institution; at the same institution in another programme; at another institution (in this programme or another); or not enrolled anywhere. That last one is first-year dropout. Changing programme is not dropping out: that person is still studying. And not every dropout is final — some come back a year or two later, which one year's register cannot see. The bar adds up the cohorts of 2023–2025: everyone in each outcome over everyone who started, not an average of the three years. It is set beside every postgraduate programme, counted the same way. A window or a cohort under 30 people carries no rate.

Each point is one cohort, the year it started, found the next year. The last one, 2025, had 3,056 people: 8.6% enrolled nowhere in 2026, 90% still in the programme. A single year moves more than the three-year window above; read the line for its direction.

The same cohorts followed into the register of titles: the share with a title in this generic programme, from any institution, by years since they started. 3 years is the formal length rounded up plus one. A recent cohort has a short line, not a low one: the register goes to 2025. Some programmes award an intermediate title on the way; the register does not tell them apart.

SIES publishes no employment or income for this generic programme on mifuturo.cl (release 2025-2026). It leaves out any combination with fewer than eleven graduates it can match to a tax return, broad catch-all groups, postgraduate programmes, and — this release — Physics and Astronomy, History, Philosophy and Mathematics, whose graduates mostly keep studying. PuroChile does not estimate what SIES did not publish.

From 2017–2019 to 2024–2026, its yearly intake went from 2,947 to 2,984 on average: +1%. Since 2007–2009: +70%. Each figure compares three-year averages, never two single years; the windows leave out 2020–2021, the dip every programme has. More entrants is more places and more demand, not a better programme; fewer is not a worse one.
