Divisions of the register

The 235 divisions the tax register files firms under. A branch of twenty-one parts says "agriculture"; these say wheat, table grapes, salmon farming and forestry nurseries, which are four economies that happen to share a letter.

Below each division the register publishes 672 activities, which each division's own page lists. Their names are the SII's own, in Spanish on both editions: they are the wording a firm is filed under, not prose to translate.

9,689,937 formal workers in 2024, the same figure the branch pages and the commune profiles add up to — the divisions of a commune sum to its branches in every one of the 676,874 commune-year cells the register publishes, which is checked on every run.
